Cambodia Now Resumes Issuing Tourist Visa

PHNOM PENH: Few hours after Prime Minister Hun Sen delivered a speech on Tuesday morning that the country is set for full reopening after the assessment that Pchum Ben holiday did not cause a major outbreak of Covid-19, the Royal Government has announced the resumption of issuing tourist visa in the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has published an announcement on their e-Visa website stating, “Cambodia e-Visa is pleased to announced that electronic visa certificate service 'Visa T' for tourists now is reopen for apply from 19 October 2021.”

The announcement was also made a day after the Royal Government has made adjustments to the quarantine regulations in the kingdom for international arrivals in the country, shortening the quarantine days for fully vaccinated individuals.

Out of 15 entry ports, only seven accept e-Visa as indicated in the MFAIC website. These are the following:

1. Phnom Penh International Airport

2. Siem Reap International Airport

3. Cham Yeam (Koh Kong)

4. Poi Pet (Banteay Meanchey)

5. Bavet (Svay Rieng)

6. Tropeang Kreal Border (Stung Treng)

7. Preah Sihanouk International Airport
